This technique is a great way to add texture and depth to your fabric, which can be used to add interesting features to your hats, mittens, scarves and even blankets. This is much like cables in knitting, but we use a different stitch method to create it. We will look at how to follow the symbols in a crochet diagram to create twists in your stitches that are raised on the surface of your fabric.
Yarn will be provided. Bring your own 4 or 5mm hook, scissors, stitch makers, pencil or pen etc. This class is not for beginners.
£30 - Max 10 people, please note a minimum of 4 people for class to proceed on the day

Mitred squares are simple, versatile, and forgiving. They can be used to create many different knitted garments and items. In this workshop, you will learn what can be made with the technique, how to pick up and knit further rows and columns, and you will go home with a full-colour booklet of my simple knitted mitred square blanket pattern, worth £4.50. This is not a beginner’s class, you must be confident with casting on, decreases, pick up and knit.
Bring with you:
